For the long-term investor in risk markets, does this graph show that the Covid 19 effect is starting to look like a passing phase??
If you have been invested in Global markets, High Tech sectors or even Micro businesses, you will now be back up to where you were a year ago.
Global Smaller Companies are lagging behind, being 10% down on the year, but the trendline is quite steep.
The only market in this graph that is showing serious under performance is the FTSE100.
Although I am a serious optimist and see the markets recovering and moving forward as M & A and markets developments start to benefit entrepreneurs, this snapshot does show that investors need to be seriously diversified, especially not concentrating their assets in the UK.
Investing wisely matters.
